Build Timeline

Below is a brief overview outlining the stages involved in constructing a new home.  

  1. SITE PREPARATION
    G&H builders will prepare the chosen lot for construction, including clearing vegetation, grading, and ensuring proper drainage. 

  2. FOUNDATION AND FRAMING
    Pour the foundation and construct the framework of the home according to the chosen design. Ensure structural integrity and adherence to building codes and regulations. 

  3. DESIGN DETAILS
    The homeowner chooses the finishes, fixtures, and materials for their home. 

  4. EXTERIOR FINISHING
    Install roofing, siding, windows, and exterior doors. Complete any necessary exterior trim work. 

  5. INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION
    Rough-in plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems according to the floor plan. Insulate walls, floors, and ceilings for energy efficiency and comfort. 

  6. INTERIOR FINISHING
    Install drywall, flooring, and interior doors. Finish interior surfaces with paint. Install cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and appliances. 

  7. FINAL TOUCHES
    Complete trim work, such as baseboards, crown molding, and door casings. Install light fixtures, switches, and outlets. Landscaping and exterior finishings. Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure everything meets the agreed-upon standards. 

  8. INSPECTIONS AND APPROVALS
    Inspections by local building authorities to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. 

  9. FINAL WALK-THROUGH AND CLOSING
    Final walk-through with us to review the completed home and address any remaining items. Finalize paperwork, financial arrangements, and obtain keys and ownership documents for your new home. 

  10. POST-CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT
